What will you learn?
What we will teach you depends on what sort of music you are interested in. However everyone needs to know how 
their instrument works and how to get all those amazing sounds out of it. That means we will tell you all about pick ups, whammy bars, different amplifiers, different guitars, effects pedals and stomp boxes and all manner of different devices that can make your humble guitar sound like anything from AC/DC, to Hendrix to Muse or even Elvis!
The electric guitar is physically different to play than the acoustic guitar, so although all the chords and fingering are the same, the techniques for playing it, and getting the right sounds are different.
The array of effects pedals and sounds that are available to to the modern electric guitar player are huge, so as well as teaching you to play the stuff you want to learn, we we will teach you how to make it sound like it should as well.
We also offer lessons on the bass guitar, which is different again, and has a different set of techniques and skills required - and a whole different set of effects pedals!
We have a fully equipped teaching studio, including 16 track digital recording facilities -if you can come to us. If not we can still bring some of these things to your home as part of your lessons.
How fast you learn and what you learn will be dictated by you. What we promise is that you will have fun learning!
