WHAT WILL I LEARN?

Our drum lessons are aimed at beginners and those with little experience, especially youngsters starting out.

All drum lessons have to take place at our teaching studio in Leigh, since it is impossible to transport drums to someone's home.

In order to save space, we have a superb Yamaha electronic kit in the studio with hundreds of different drum sounds so you can not only learn different drumming skills but also how to make different sounds.

Even though the kit is an electronic one, we use real cymbals and a real hi-hat.

Our tutor will teach you from the very basics of rhythm theory and stick skills all the way up to being able to play with a band or to a backing track.

You can learn a variety of styles from pop to rock, from funk to reggae, and we also have a full acoustic kit available and you will be taught how to to set it up, tune it and look after it.

Beginner lessons start at only £10 per hour, so it is very affordable for younger students.

Xmas Band Night

Thanks and congratulations to Mark, Brian, Nicky, Ben and Ellis for taking part in the XMAS BAND NIGHT yesterday. It was a great success and we are already looking forward to the next one around the end of June 2010, so get practising!

Title 1

Electric guitar lessons take in all the main styles from Blues to Rock, to Heavy Metal. We teach you to play but also teach you about the technology of guitars, amplifiers, effects boxes and pedals and everything else you need to know to make a fantastic noise!

Title 2

Acoustic guitar lessons concentrate on those styles and songs suited to this most sociable of instruments. From folk to pop, from ballads to Tenacious D! We teach strumming, finger picking, and all the stuff you need to entertain yourself and/or your friends.

Title 3

Our drum tutition takes place only in our teaching studio in Leigh and is designed specifcally for beginners - particularly youngsters starting to learn for the first time. We teach rudiments, undertanding basic rhythm theory and will have you playing in no time.
