what will you learn?
The acoustic guitar is the most social of all instruments, because it is so easy to pick up and play almost anywhere.
Many of our pupils start playing the acoustic guitar because they want to be able to get the guitar out and start a singalong when they have friends round or are sat round the pool on holiday.
We always begin by asking you what type of music you are interested in and to write down a list of the ten songs you would most like to be able to play on the guitar, and we use this as a starting point for your lesson plan.
From there we will cover all the main techniques and skills you will need to know including learning chords, strumming, and finger picking.
We will teach you about tuning and how to use non standard tunings to play some great songs and we will quickly get you to a point where that original list of ten songs you wrote down will have to be added to!
We also offer a restringing and servicing facility for your guitar, and when we take your guitar away to look after it for you we can give a you a loaner so you don't lose a week of practice time.
Our prices are very competitive and we offer the option to pay via credit/debit card as well as in cash.
